Webcam Systems
Teletoddler takes the Honeycomb CCTV system to the next level and is for nurseries that want parents to be more involved in their children's fun during the day. This involves linking the nursery to the Teletoddler website so that parents can each log in via a secure site with a unique username and password.
Main features of the system include:
- Cameras installed in the play and learning rooms of the nursery and, depending on the particular installation, there may also be cameras outside the nursery, on the play area and the nursery approaches (e.g. the car park).
- Each camera is connected to a computer located at the nursery, which acts as an internet server and is in turn connected to our web site - usually via an ADSL broadband connection. Nursery Managers and parents (if allowed) then use a computer either at work or at home (or even on the move) to connect to our secure web site via the internet.
- Once on the website, users will be asked for a username and password to confirm their identity. The nursery manager will usually limit access, so when parents log on they will only be allowed to see the rooms that their
children are in.
- The website is encrypted using secure socket layer technology to prevent unauthorised access. Also no sound is available over the internet, which further increases security.
- Access is limited to 5 minutes per visit.
Our secure website provides easy-to-use tools for nursery managers to control access to the nurserycams. All administration is done via the website, meaning that it can be done from wherever you have access to the internet. This is particularly useful when adding new customers or helping a parent who has forgotten a password.
