Fob systems

These are the most popular systems for day nurseries that require high security at a reasonable price. Each person authorised to access the nursery is given a unique 'fob' (an electronic key) which they pass by a sensor to gain entry.

Advantages include:

• The ability to add and delete users and fobs in seconds (especially useful if a fob is lost)
• The option to have different groups of users with different default access times (e.g. cleaners, staff, owners and parents) as well as individual access times

• No problems with certain people never being recognised (as can happen with some bio-metric systems)

All systems are provided with either a button for exit or a
second reader for exit. Additionally, an emergency exit
switch is required. Systems can include multiple doors, a
